Fiona's first creative passion is Logos. The process of designing logos from the initial meeting with the client to final delivery is exciting. It's a wonderful experience taking ideas discussed with clients, adding a little creativity and turning them into a visual representation of their business.
The true meaning of the word Logo is “an identifiable mark, unity against your competitors”, and it’s important to have a solid logo, refined identity and good business values no matter how big or small your company.
Your business logo should stand out on its own, be simple, uncluttered and easy to understand. It should be concise enough to adapt to any size and should work across many different types of media and still be identifiable. The logo should link to your brand no matter how tentatively (which can create intrigue) but still convey a pertinent message.
When creating a logo, Fiona has devised a logo definition questionnaire which helps her, and more importantly her clients, to focus on core elements like typography, colour and usage. With this information she can structure your brand, keeping your identity and message consistent across all your materials.
Working through the logo definition questionnaire is the first step of the logo design process and requires a 1-hour meeting or discussion, after which she will deliver a quotation and contract. After all parties are happy, initial design ideas will be delivered.
